ZERO distractions, ZERO collisions, ZERO trespassers, that’s the goal. Life lessons that stick are never forced, so let’s draw attention to the bad choices made every day to help people become a little more aware and a lot more safe. SunRail’s rail safety campaign resonated with audiences of all ages and engaged the public and first responders across multiple platforms.

LOCAL SOCIAL IMPRESSIONS

Although the system only covers 16 stations across 4 counties, SunRail shares 121 grade and 27 pedestrian crossings with the local community.

First-hand accounts told from the train conductors who witnessed these strikes and near-misses with actual footage made a compelling argument for heightened awareness around the tracks. Hear about the psychological effects these actions take on train operators all because people don’t think they need to wait the 30 seconds for a train to pass.

Agencies from three counties participated in law enforcement activities at select grade crossings. In just 1 day, 5 police agencies pulled over 126 vehicles for stopping on the tracks issuing 85 citations and giving 41 warnings.

LET’S GO FOR ZERO was prominently displayed across a digital network of billboards and media partners that generated over 2 million paid and earned media impressions across the region.
